Staybridge Suites Liverpool unveils £1million makeover

Staybridge Suites Liverpool, owned by Cycas Hospitality, has been refreshed and revitalised after a £1million makeover. The hotel, ideally located just 200 metres from the lively Albert Dock in Liverpool, has received a full upgrade to all its suites, as well as the public areas and the exterior of the hotel.

Craig Patterson, General Manager at Staybridge Suites Liverpool says: “We are really thrilled with the refurbishment. A great deal of thought and care went into the design, even going as far as asking our guests for their feedback on our plans and asking what they would like to see within the hotel.

“In an ever-evolving business travel marketplace, reinventing yourself is key to keeping your guests happy and staying on top. Our exciting refurbishment for Staybridge Suites Liverpool will help maintain the buzz and create a more contemporary “at home” feel for our guests.”

The hotel has 132 suites that have all been refreshed and improved, encompassing full upgrades and redecoration of the flooring, windows, lighting and furniture.

In terms of design, more pops of colour have been introduced to both the suites and public areas and multi-functional furniture was selected, suitable for relaxing, eating and working.
The Reception, Lounge, Dining Area, Meeting Room and Hub Kitchen have also been transformed, all with the guest experience in mind, to ensure that the hotel provides a comfortable, home from home feel throughout.

The finishing touch was to tie in the overall design to things that are iconic in Liverpool. There are plenty of references to The Beatles and Merseyside Maritime, making the hotel really feel part of the city culture and giving guests a true Liverpool experience.

ADS Design were the designers for the refurbishment project, a company with a wealth of experience in the hotel sector, and the original design team for Staybridge Suites Liverpool for its opening.

Staybridge Suites Liverpool, the first extended stay hotel in the UK, opened in 2008, spearheading the extended stay format for Liverpool just as the spotlight hit the city for its year as the European Capital of Culture.

Providing a ‘home away from home’ concept for the traveller Staybridge Suites Liverpool features include the fully equipped kitchenettes, complimentary hot breakfast, as well as a 24-hour Pantry, Fitness Centre and Laundry.
